Shoreline La Jolla Cove

La Jolla is the most recognisable line on the county map: a headland that pushes out into the ocean and then folds back into a small sheltered notch. The engraving takes in that notch, the sandstone bluff that wraps it, the curve of the seawall to the south, and the long open sweep of the Shores running north. It is a coastline you can identify from across a room, which is exactly why it is the piece people give when they want the recipient to know instantly what it is.

This is the piece for a proposal that happened on the bluff, a wedding at the cove, a family who swam there every summer, or someone leaving San Diego who wants the one view they will actually miss.
